My brother's father-in-law took a 1941 (byf manufactured) Luger from a Germanicon Officer (POW) sometime in 1944 or 1945. He does not remeber exactly when or from whom. My brother gave it to me to clean and test fire as it had not been fired since it was taken from the German. It is in great shape and has recently been cleaned and test fired.

Does anybody know any way of finding out which German Office was issued this weapon? I have all the serial numbers and holster, etc. Is therre web information anywhere that might have this information?
