Japanese Type 99 (4x Sniper)
This is apt to be a drawn out affair, but 6 rounds will have to do for a start.
Haven't shot this rifle in some time, don't even remember what ammo was used last time, but I'm pretty sure it was hand loaded 174gr ammo which is about gone. However, found a stash of 150gr factory Hornady Ammo.
Just on a lark, it was decided this rifle might do for some light duty deer still-hunting (stalking) if the POI was close enough not to require a re-zero. SO, ran some dry patches through the bore and off we went!
Here's the subject. Better photos may follow

View from the operator's end:

Reticle view-Somebody's targets at 200m may give a bit of scaling:

The "short-range" rifle range: 25, 50, and 100yds at left, 200 on right:

So, fired one round at 100yds- the hit was a bit low but still on paper so did two more. Both were pretty close to the first.- Happy, happy , joy, joy! No real bad first round flyer! It just so happened they fell right about where the 200m crosshair rests when aiming with the 100m, so centered the reticle as required and let fly three more:

Three rounds in 1 1/2". (The top three anyway.) Doesn't prove much except that it's better than most of the other T99s I've shot. Good enough for close in deer.
That's it for now. More extensive testing to follow- I hope!
Thanks for your patience in advance.
