Lithgow Slazenger .410 Shotgun
Im in love this valentines day as i have a new project (along with the other 4 i have going, ill get them finished sometime darling)
I had an old BSA air rifle and a baikal 12g that had not seen the light of day for several years, so i took them in for disposal at the local dealer, and instead of walking out empty handed i walked out with a permit to acquire and this little gem awaiting pickup. Its a bitser... 1916 enfield, a Lithgow
barrel, some crude welding and machining, a mismatched buttstock and hey presto, a shotty any farmer or school kid can buy for what i imagine, was not a lot of cash.
Interestingy, it was an absolute pain to get the forend off, its is fitted so tight it would make a target shooter proud. I guess the lack of recoil has kept the bedding in good condition.
Im just excited as i have never seen on of these in the flesh, and now i own one!
