Its the same story on many forums, lots of people talking about stuff-but nobody really saying much that is acutally benefical to collecting. The very few names that actually provide good information are almost always the ones that new collectors bash for being arrogant. I am personally glad that these arrogant folks are out there, they are the ones that really help you out with great info and good pictures of fine guns. Recently I had a guy get mad and flame the hell out me for calling his mixmaster carbine a mixmaster carbine, I just dont get the brittle people that get mad over internet chatting. Hike down your skirts and keep the discussion about collecting!

Oh, and thanks to the people who provide and maintain this great site for us to use!!

I agree too.

And I also like that it is free. The moderators donate their time. But you can bet your sweet patootey there are maintenance costs for the site Administrators.

I thought about that last year. Saw they excepted donations. Worked it out. $25 a year is less then 7 cents a day. $2.08 a month. I figured I could give up one super big gulp a month to help out. You also get some extra perks for donating.

Even in this tight economy, getting ready to retire to a fixed income, For me, I feel it is a worth while expense.

To all, I sincerely apologize for the turn of events with Rocky321. I feel somewhat responsible for not doing more sooner. He has been banned for a period of time and depending on how the moderators and admin feel after we have had a chance to discuss this he may very well be banned for good.
