According to the add the no.4T's were Indian, ''Ishapore manufacture and markings''. I shelled out way more than that for my Indian T and I did'nt get a scope tin.

Had a link sent to me by LERA and there were No4 T's if I remember correctly selling for under $50.00 with transit cases. They went up in price $5.00 about 3 months later. Oh the date was 1961/2
Why use a 50 pound bomb when a 500 pound bomb will do?

I made a trip to Alexandria, Virginia, back in 1961 and bought five No.4Mk.1T rifles, complete with transit cases, scopes, and scope tins for $49.95 each. At the time, the Canadian Dollar was worth about $1.10, so the actual cost in Canadian money was about 10% less. If I recall right, it cost about 6% Duty and Taxes to get them into Canada
. We didn't have to be concerned with Gun Control Laws, Homeland Security and all the rest of the crap we have now.

I will see your bet and raise it a $79 4T and a $39.50 No 5.
