I can't say, but that rifle is a beauty!
Thanks for the great pictures.

Looks all original to me. I believe the checkered BP was first used in 1910. Very nice rifle! Great photos! How 'bout some of the left side of the stock? Is it yours? Wish it were mine.

The rifle has a heavily-checkered buttplate and blued finish because it's brand new!
Thanks for sharing!

That is a VERY nice original rifle. Thanks for the pics !! As John likes to say, "The only thing wrong with it is that it isn't in MY safe!". Seeing case colors on the early rifle parts is extremely rare.

The rifling is not the strongest, but it's got a bright bore. Anyway, won't going to shoot it.
Ah, and somebody wanted to have a picture of the other side of the rifle, what I did take (under the watchful eyes of my dog

):]
Thanks for the extra pic. That IS a beautiful rifle. I can tell better from the ONE pic in daylight that is is original finish and it looks great !! I wish mine looked that good !!
Don't worry about the bore condition, it has NOTHING to do with a "collector" rifle. I have bought many a rifle and people ask "What is the bore like? How does it shoot?" I respond, "I don't care about the bore, didn't look at it when I bought it." " I don't shoot collectable rifles anyway."
Thanks again for the pics,
Emri
