HBT shirts arent they Bill.....looks like metal 13 star buttons....and HBT trousers......somethings telling me they are 79th Infantry or 90th Inf Div GIs as that picture has ben accredited to before.......but the lack of helmet nets doesnt prove conclusive as the 79th in Normandy has a peculiar "top knot" helmet net

Thanks Bill.....i love this part of the milsurp forum.....love the historical pictures Snafu and Mark and all you guys come out with.Perhaps they should have a carbine pic of the day thread too.Bill you know what a stickler i am for living history and re enactor details......so thats the eye for detail....at 47 years old ive been "doing it" a long time.
Keep up the good work guys and thanks forletting the "Goddamn Limey" contribute

Besides that little stickywicked we had in Our early days, Its always nice to here from our breathern across the pond!!!!
I just had to ask. It looks like they are all private's then? I didn't think that they would have that opportunity. I guess that the war could be over by the time this pic was taken.
