WOW ! mark that top pic is a doozie.....what a selection of kit that squad is wearing.Still trying to work out what the GI armed with the Thompson on the step is wearing.....never seen that pic before...Kudos

TSMG and possibly an M1 carbine carried by the corporal...........erm NO !.....Guys is that centre GI wearing an M43 jacket...?????it looks shiny sateen enough...and has square chest pockets.....im still not sure what top jacket he has on.

IF that is an M43 thats VERY early

The caption on the second photo says "American infantry soldiers". Those fellas are Airborne. Flag IS on the wrong sleeve.

1st noticed the guns being carried left handed , then the carbine on the " wrong " shoulder. Looked closer and saw that the Greasegun sling attached to the wrong side of the reciever.
