Typical. I get told that 1941 Long Branches are very uncommon, so I buy one, and now they are coming out of the woodwork. Similar thing happened with my NZ
-marked Long branch - hadn't seen one before, managed to find a nice example, and now I trip over them at every gun forum I go to...sheesh! Then again, one did recently sell on a certain online gun auction website for $961 (someone has more money than sense..).

When the dealer told me it was already sold, my first thought was, "I bet it was that damn spinecracker!"
