Reproduction REL's
Was crawling the web and about wet myself, then I read the description. A new made reproduction with R.E.L. markings. At least they used out of range serial number AND marked it (R) for reproduction. I'm be interested to hear in a few years what story is fabricated to describe what the R means (at a gun show table).

I had a very small run of the REL scopes done a short time ago and the serial numbers are outside of the known serial number range. There may be one exception to the rule however as I find that there MIGHT be one REL scope numbered over the 700 range. The (R) behind the serial number will be the object of interest in years to come, but other than having the word REPRO written on the tube, I decided to go the (R). Hope this sits well with everyone here, and the scope has NOT been in my collection for 30 years...:-)## If anyone wants more information on the scopes, feel free to email me anytime.

The "R" stands for rare! Doesn't it?

Warren you wild man. The would make a great story some day, what with planning and problems. Good show. I'll take two copies. We need more wild men like you.

Are these different in any way other than the engraving from the other No32 repros?

The scopes are identical to the Numrich scopes and I think they are from the same manufacturer. There however, appears to be two makers.
I do a small modification on the scopes to help prevent a problem down the road. They are NOT British
made 32 scopes and having modified several of the Numrich repro scopes so they were repeatable and smoother operating, I decided to do it to the repro REL scopes before I sold them.
