A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For starters:

The scope is NOT WW2 production. It is newly made, with fake WW2 markings. You need to know how to read these ads They ARE misleading if not careful.

These are just normal SVT's with the mount rails that have had repro sniper parts added - no different that one of the made-up PU snipers floating around. No if you still are OK with that, then it's not a bad price for a repro SVT sniper - a real one would be at least another $500+

I dunno, a $500 rifle+$150(at most) scope, the gunsmiting and repro mount are worth $700+?! If it floats your boat, ok, but looking at the path Mosin repro sniper parts are taking, i think its throwing a lot of cash over something that's only going to depreciate, or at least not gain any value for a long while...
