While we are on the subject.
What do you think, butt plate was rusty and has an RMC handguard, a matter I'm still working on. Cheers all, and Happy Christmas in case I'm not back for a couple of weeks. Mike.

I don't know where mike explores, but I wish he'd take me on his next trip!
Hey Mike - didn't the U.S. just loan all those great carbines to y'all? Don't you feel guilty? I bet you'd feel a lot better if you sent a few of them back here. Just send them to me and I promise I'll find a really good home for them.
LOVE your collection, Mike. Keep sending the photos.
MERRY CHRISTMAS to you too, buddy!
(Some zealots in the states are trying to make it 'Non-PC' to say Merry Christmas anymore, but I'm taking it to my grave)

If Charlie is back, I'll keep posting. Just a joke. These are the last pics on the I.P thread from me. I am hunting through my stuff to find the ones of good STD and IP Butt plates. Hard to find as most WW2 Carbines down my way spent a lot of time with that part wet. Talked to Wtmr one day about finding that part of original stocks with black stains on them Would be keen to hear more about that. Great to share info on a place like this, it doesn't matter how many Carbines you have, or havn't got !. Mike.
