Best Enbloc Clips
I'd like to buy some enbloc clips, but would like to get some advice on the clips available today for my Garand
.
Thanks.

I have about 2/3 of a large ammo box of USGI clips of all kinds Paul, and they all seem to work about the same as far as that goes. I looked through mine and many were SA. I think of them more as consumables - if one is bent or rusted, or seems to have a problem I just get rid of it. Haven't you just checked on GB or anywhere to see if there's any deals there? Sometimes you can contact people who have them for sale and they have boxes of them and get good prices in bulk. Just don't get any with rust or anything. I've done the same at gun shows - they're usually pretty cheap, anyway, and if you tell them you want a bunch they'll often cut you a deal.

Cheaper Than Dirt ('CTD') sells Garand
Enbloc clips that are made by Aggressive Engineering ('AEC') on the west coast.
There's nothing in the CTD advertising that says who makes the clips but that's what I found when I bought some and examined them.
'AEC' is one of the manufacturers listed on the Enbloc clip spec.

Best I have tried are the nickel plated ones from this guy Buy and Sell Items at GunBroker.com
They run smooth as silk and are easy to find when hunting.
Worst are some of the ones that come with Greek HXP.

I have bought 2 cases of en bloc clips from Numrich and have been very happy.
ALL were USGI.
175 pc's for $75.00 (.43 cents each)
Happy Shooting,

I don't think I have ever used anything but USGI clips, never had a problem with any of them. Some have probably been reloaded and used 100's of times. With both live ammo, and blanks at reenactments. When they get rusty, I scuff them up with steel wool and repaint them a dark od, and keep on using them. All mine are marked IS, SA, or BRW.

Me too.
Short of stepping on them they last a good, long time.
Just because they are rusty isn't a good reason to throw them away. It's usually just surface rust anyway.
