First attempt at posting pictures on this site so hopes it works. Thought some may not have seen this gun, great RR Museum if you ever get to Krakow Poland.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. I am not sure, however do believe it looked more recent than WW1. My son is going to install some program on my computer today that will let me post my pictures in a smaller format so after that I will try to put a few more on of the steam engines that were at the Museum. It like most Museums in the Krakow are was very inexpensive to see.

I think the Big Bertha types were long as the rail car. I've never seen one in museum but I have seen the shell. It was being used as a garbage can in the Canadian icon

War Museum in 1979. Right by the door. It was like a 45 gal drum. Where did these guns go?

yes, the "big Bertha" guns (German icon

WW1 and who else?) were monstrous and apparently could be heard from across the channel. This one shown is clearly not a long range gun but more info would be interesting. Whose is it and what time frame and how did it end up in the Krakow museum? The Germans had armoured trains all over in WW2.
