Need Help in ID of Parts & Stock
I am new to this great treasure of a site, I have posted better photo's this time. I woud like to know what the Markings Represent, The stock Markings I am very puzzeled as no one thus far knows. Thank you for your help, Stamps on Front Sight, Mag release, and Rear sight and two on the stock.

Mag Catch, Wadsworth Watch case Co Replacement part?
Rear sight, Packard for Inland
Can't help on the stock.

Thank you, I did not think replacement parts were stamped? Is The stock possibly Foreign?

Isn't the mag catch WA same as the WA straight hammers? WWII replacement parts by Walt Arms or Walt Manufacturing? Or some name like that. I recall a talk with Mr. Ricca about WA marked parts.
Stock is Birch, Any slingwell marking? Not sure of those pictured markings. Maybe proof markings used by a foreign country.

I believe the 'M' on the mag catch is 'Modified'. The stock markings are not USGI. The carbine, or at least the stock, is an import.

The mag catch is Walt Manuf. not Wadsworth Watch. Both used the same marking, but on different parts.
When they tell you to behave, they always forget to specify whether to behave well or badly!

The carbine is a rebuilt and is a mix of different war time parts and the stock as Inland said has be overseas and I would guess from Germany
or Austria
maybe and is a replacement.
