IBM with X marked on top round bolt.

While reading the current issue of the Carbine Club newsletter I got this out for comparison. It seemed like a good time to take some pictures and ask for options and comments regarding proper parts for this serial number and originality over all.

I don’t think there are any reproduction parts or that the front or rear sights have ever been removed, but someone else may see it differently. The IN B of the right side of the rear sight was double struck; looks to me that the stamp was badly worn.
