Pakistani-manufactured No 4 rifles
Overall, what was the general impression of these? Were they as well made as their UK
counterparts?

Wnat one one saw one and it looked identical to a Faz NO.4 Mk2 but some buffoon had varnished the thing. DOH! Fit and finish looked good though.

I actually saw a very nice looking 1960 POF
No4 Mk2 for sale on-line yesterday at a good price. I already have a 1960 so I did not jump on it when it was first posted but decided that if it was still available when I got home that I would go ahead and get it. Unfortunately, it was already sold by the time I got home.
IMO, I believe that these are well made rifles and comparable to post-war Enfields.

The wood on the one I saw was a light color like the beech used on the 1955 FAZ I have but the grain was bigger and more swirly like a light walnut. looked REEEALYY nice.
