Any of these stamps look familiar on No4 Mk1*??
I bought a 1944 LE No4Mk1* "Longbranch" a few weeks ago. Shot it 30 times. I've only fired my own handloads in it. Shoots well, but it needs a little work before it's finished. I really like it, and plan on keeping it forever.
- rear sight is a ladder-type stamped MkIII
- the magazine is stamped U.C.F.
- the sporterized stock has C-Broad Arrow stamps. The current furniture is Ram-Line.
-bolt/receiver both match
I was wondering if any of these stamps look familiar to any of you guys. I'm just curious to know where it's been, if anywhere besides a rack and a closet. Thanks for the help!

They all look like standard markings, 1944 dated barrel, the markings at the muzzle are importers marks.

Actually, Capt., from what we can see of the metalwork of your rifle it looks to be in VERY tidy order with most of its original blue. If you were inclined it would make a worthy restoration project......
