Well I have been just trying to soak up as much info as possible from this forum on the Enfield No. 4 Mk 1/2. I have been looking at one that an old friend had he did not know anything about the weapon other then it is an Enfield so I have comitted myself to the addiction and brought her home. She is an FTR 1954, matching serial #s, I think she originates from the BSA factory in Shirley? based off of the M47C, serial is in the A20000's, I have shot her around 50rds but not on paper so I dont know how the groups are will get to that soon. I do plan on shooting her as much as possible and use her for hunting the way she is in military dress "no sporter mods stuff". I know I could just hang her up and look at her but as a recently retired Infantry soldier I feel the need to have the old girl speak to me and often. So many questions on this weapon but that will be for another time. Thank you all for the knowledge that is passed on in this forum. Enjoy the pics.
Mike
