This is about as off-topic as it gets, tried to send a user a private message & the forum threw an error saying I had to have at least one post ...
so here it is. nothing exciting about it!

It's designed to keep spammers from spamming all of our members with hundreds of PM (Private Messages) ...
Instead of the post in this forum, you could have followed the large set of instructions that appeared at the top of the forum when your post count was zero, which pointed to this thread to introduce yourself.
New member introductions thread ......
That would have created the mandatory one post to be able to use the PM system.
