Newbie w/a few questions
Hello all,Tommyt here from down south ,I recently purchased my 1st Enfield then found out its the one most villified, a Santa Fe Carbine, However I like it, It shoots great and now I need info on how to properly scope her. I'm lookin into the DAI mount at Brownells and the S&K mount as well as maybe talkin to Brian Dick
about one as well, any thoughts gang,Thanks,Tommyt

Do you have more photographs of the other side of the receiver so we can see the stampings please. Looks nice to me though - don't monkey with it either way.

Are you sur ethis is a "Santa Fe" carbine?? is santa fe stamped on teh barrel?

I think the Armalon is probably the best design yet. You can take it off the rifle without taking the scope off the base, unlike the S&K and I believe the Fulton's.
Nothing wrong with your rifle BTW. It's already collectible and highly usable.

I don't think it's a sante fe. Looks to me like it could be a genuine No.5 hence the request for more pics.

It's not a genuine No.5 from what I can see. Flash hider is a repro IMO. Likewise handguard. Nice handy little rifle though. Would be nice to see some closeups of the mag as it looks better formed than those Parker Hale made in Japan
jobs. Any markings on it?
