I have not seen a bomb on the barrel like it before. Great find.

Grteat find! I know what you mean about never expecting to find one! I couldn't believe my luck when I found my 12-43 Inland at the local shop forwell below its real value to collectors. Congrats!

326xxxx has the OC flaming bomb too. Both rifles also have the bomb on the bolt under the SG on the lug and in the slingwell. At some point in the 3d SN range the bomb on the barrel went away......not sure about the bolt and slingwell. Regards, Rick.

I have a 3.25 Saginaw SG that has the same flaming bomb on the barrel. Mine is more of a half strike at best though. Does your SG have a dogleg hammer and if so, what marking does it have on it? If I remember right too (no reference book with me) it would have had an umarked type 2 safety in it. It's a very nice gun as it is pictured BTW.

My hammer is in the white with SG below, trigger marked SG, mag release marked SG on L. front, umarked type 2 safety and unmarked sear.

Looks great like I said. The hammer appears straight (I think). That would be the only issue for what I see.

The type 3 hammer could be correct. It's within about 20,000 of the start of the type 3 hammer listed by Riesch. Real nice carbine anyway you look at it.
