Jay Currahs Lee Enfield Web Site
Does anyone know if Jay Currah's --LEE ENFIELD-- web site is on another address or stored anywhere on a Lee forum like this one?
Jay had one of the best Lee Enfield sites back in the day but it has been a few years since I needed to look at it--- and now I cannot find it.
If it is not stored it should be added as a sticky to this web site.
Regards
Terry

Jay Currah
I found an archived email address on a military forum after an hour search for Jay Currah contacts, email address etc.
I have sent an email --the bad part is that it bounced back in the last five minutes as undeliverable .
So if anyone knows how to Contact Jay Currah let me know.

I believe I have a valid email address. As I mentioned, I'll update everyone when I hear back.

Update ...
I received a reply from Jay and yes, he's closed down and removed his web site.
He indicated that ISP, server and bandwidth costs to operate it continued to rise, while the amount of visitors declined steadily, so he couldn't justify its continued operation.
I replied and have offered to relocate the content at our expense and host it here on our server for free. Currently, I am awaiting a reply.
Regardless, I will keep everyone informed as to the status ...

Doug

Update ...
I've been talking to Jay and he's accepted the offer to transfer his site for free to our server.
Now, it's just about logistics of getting the conent and then hiring an HTML programmer (I'm not one of those..
) to do the work for use...
I'll post progress reports and let everyone know how we're making out as the process unfolds ....
Regards,
Doug

This is great news. I worked with Jay back when the site was current and a number of my pieces were "enshrined" there. Looking forward to seeing the pics again...

Any news on the relocation of Jays site?

The software developer in Australia
who is handling this for us has been delayed in getting to this specific project. We didn't want to rush him as it's a filler project between things he does in in his full time business, which is why he gave us a better price to handle this.
