85 would be the end of it. I had my FN withdrawn in 87 in Alberta and there was a new issue of equipment just before that. My pics of the kit are too small and out of the original CAMT to be of any good to you. I can answer all your questions about location and equipment. I have some of the items too. Combo tools, jags, pullthroughs (different types)...

Those kits continue to be issued even today as part of the weapons tech tool box. When the army runs out of pouches, they will have more made.
I have a couple of complete kits kicking around, and will get a shot unless someone beats me to it.

Attachment 44239Attachment 44240Attachment 44241Attachment 44242They contained a three pieces rod, .30 cal jag, 2 x .30 cal brush, .45. cal brush, two ended tooth brush, pull through, 4x1/2 cloths, oil bottle with brush in cap, combination tool and could also be found holding an extra oil bottle for the butt and 9mm jag and brush. I was going by memory for a minute there and then though I'd look to see if I still had one...what a surprise. I have a dozen combo tools and handfuls of the small stuff.
