A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. It shouldn't be too hard to find out who was the Division Commander when Patton was a Lt. Gen.

I was thinking it was him. But wasn't sure. He's in the Division book I have of course and I've heard his name several times. I heard he was pretty good. The 2nd ID SEEMED to have a good rep for a combat division and saw a very fair share of action. Very fair. More than fair. Second to none. hehehehe

A very late war Ford GPW with vacuum wipers. Odd though, no black out drive light and doesn't look to be the three holes in the top of the fender for it either.
