Martini Long Lever

A few months ago I bought a Gehendra rifle, and I guess I got bit by another collecting bug because I recently purchased a Martini as well. Seems to be in very good shape and it even looks to have some Nepalese writing on it.

I somewhat remember reading that commercial ammunition is available for these. If that is true, does anyone have any suggested manufacturers or places to buy it from? Thanks.

I think the only current manufacturer is TEN-X. IMA-USA sells it. Older ammo shows up on the auction sites for cheaper but is not easily reloaded. I think it is about $140.00/20 which is why most people buy materials and load thier own. The brass is not cheap and some people make it out of Magteck brass shotgun shells. Be forwarned, It is addictive.

Okay. Well I literally have a box of brass and bullets that I got when I bought my Gehendra rifle. The guy who was selling it gave it to me. So, when I get around to reloading I'll be ready to go. Thanks, I'll check out TEN-X.

If you are wanting to shoot the Gahendra, better slug the barrel first. A lot of those rifles have differing bore diameters, and you certainly don't want to be picking bits of Gahendra out of your face!

Haha. Yeah. I am well aware of that. The Gahendra will be a project for when I have confidence in reloading.
