Get yourself some drill rounds and you can practice your "Mad Minute" and imagine yourself on the Condé Canal in 1914!
“There are invisible rulers who control the destinies of millions. It is not generally realized to what extent the words and actions of our most influential public men are dictated by shrewd persons operating behind the scenes.”
Edward Bernays, 1928

Thank you folks, took a while to find one that I was happy with and can't wait for it to arrive, but no mad minute with this one I'm afraid - it's a Deact so I don't think it'll chamber (I'll have to pretend). I'm looking into the world of live firers at the moment though as I'd love to have one (probably a Mk4) for range shooting.

SMLE just arrived - some pics
Here's some pics, fresh out of the box, she looks to be in great condition for a 101 year old
Welcome thoughts on the GR cross flags marking - looks like an I not a P - but could be worn or weak impression? Also, the stock has a C - was this a size? Pictures with various other markings, if anyone can pick out anything interesting much appreciated.

The "C" is not a size. The size should be in the heel of the butt.
