Can you not use a rubber washer from the plumbing supply Peter?

Just what I've decided to do BAR......., sealed with plumbers silicon. That should waterproof the little bugger!

End up like the old Beetle...use it for a water crossing without leaks. Or Leeks if you like...

I have used sound proofing matting (ultrasonic) - I wanted the effect to dull the metal box resonance anyway - also found that it leaps gorges and sticks like camel snot - (especially to itself)
- easy fab and fit too! - and its never coming off again. If you dont want the whole panel fitted - make patches over the whole - both sides if you can reach! Some versions come with thermal barrier qualities too..
