My M1's
Being new I thought I would share what brings me to the forums. Here are my 2 M1
's both SA the top is July 42 the bottom is April 45.

I feel the same way about the ones under 1 mil. It took me along time to get my hands one. This was a stripped receiver when i got it so it was more gratifying building it up.

I was lucky, mine was a LL but I found it in a gun shop in my town in 1976. First one I had actually had hands on. 328219 SA...all correct. Was that ever a lucky grab...since then I've had lots of low numbers, but none in the shape of my first.

That is nice looking. I do prefer the manganese park but there is something to be said about that grey/greenish finish you see a lot on the low numbers.
