Winchester Carbine with Underwood barrel and DCM paperwork
Hi All,
I am going to go look at a Winchester with a Underwood barrel. I think the it's a mixmaster with DCM paperwork. I was wondering what to look for and what the value range might be given it's seems to have a wide range of parts. Does the DCM paperwork add any value? The asking price is $900.
Thanks,
Bob

I think that with the DCM paperwork, that is about as much as anyone should pay for such a rebuild. Yes, the paperwork does add some value, but not all that much.
When they tell you to behave, they always forget to specify whether to behave well or badly!

Based on rising Carbine prices, I would say if the condition is very good, the $900 is an OK price for a rebuilt with DCM paperwork. California, it would run considerably more in a gun shop.
