I've fired Sierra 168 gr. Match Kings in several Krags. There were no feed problems and my Krags liked them! I usually load with IMR 4895 or 3031, but experimented with this WW748 load last Fall.

Thanks
Try 45gr of 4831 with a Sierra/Nosler 168gr target bullet. Nice easy load.
Never had a reason to use 4831.
thanks
I've used Nosler 168s and get some pretty good groups from them. I've used different powders going for different velocities. One load, using a fast burning (Blue Dot range) surplus powder for 2000fps gave me some 1" groups. I've also used surplus Russian4895 at a bit below max. I generally shoot model 92/96 rifles, they feed the spitzers pretty good.
Mannparks,
YMMV on spitzers feeding thru the Kragmagazine. The '98s are especially finickey.
Good luck!

My '98 doesn't particularly like 150 FMJs...they hang up to the left of the chamber.

The dreaded 7 o'clock nosedive! Next time I run into it, I'll have to take the time to see just what mods are needed to fix it.
I have loaded several different 168's and 155's and 150 grain bullets. Feeding depends quite a bit on overall length of the finished round and condition of the rifle interior where the bullet guides into the chamber. Bullet style can also have an impact on how well a round will, or will not feed. I have also been experimenting with Varget powder instead of the traditional powders and have had pretty decent results so far.
