Humans Aren't the Only Ones Stocking M2 Ball
It turns out humans aren't the only ones stocking up on M2 Ball. I got home from work at dark and saw my ammo package from CTD sitting in my garage, with something laying on top. Getting closer I saw it was a snake, but my family is known for playing pranks with fake snakes since we live in the country. Getting EVEN closer, about 7ft, something didn't look right, so just to be safe I threw my keys and it MOVED. Turned out to be one big rattlesnake. Finally got him into the yard and killed him. Letting the rattle dry out now. First one we've seen all summer.
Didn't react fast enough to get a pic of him on the package..

The meat is not bad if you cook it right. It’s very lean and will get dry if you don’t. It also has a lot of bones.
I would rather have a nice juicy T-bone.

That's a lot of snake Vincent...reminds me of some we'd see down in the training area in Camp Pendleton, out at the town fighting site area. They'd hide in the giant dry gulch boulders during the heat of the day like they were rubber and then disappear on you in the afternoon. They're protected there though. Same down in Yakima Firing range...

Only had rattlesnake meat once during a roundup and cook-off. The consistency reminded me of chicken (what else?) but it was so heavily seasoned it could have been anything.

What did you use to kill it? A BFR?

Yep. The oldest weapon, a MkI BFR.
