Please give opinions on this Model 1903. As collector value, where would this range in value?

What is there, 4 proof Ps there? We'll need to see the serial number to make sense of the parts list...to some extent.

Is that 68 Gran Torino 390? A car buff?

1907 model has a serial number 31XXXX. Bore is bright with clean rifling.

A low Number in a WWII stock. I would not be shooting it, but it does have some collector value.

What signs does the stock have to make it a WWII version?

The P proof in a square is post WW2, here are some photos of what the early rear sight looked like before WW1. It would have very small checkered knobs and a polished sight ladder. I have an original 1907 SA rifle and the stock is without stock boltsAttachment 57652

03-A3 "pinned" stock. This is a 1943/44 stock. They have a bad habit of splitting, too.

Always love to see your early 03's RCS with the super early serial numbers RCS. I also have two early RIA's w/ bolt less stks and grove less hand guards also, one is a 1907 also. Ray

As the poster is seeking a value. Because of the low number receiver which is not considered a shooter and it has been up graded a number of times plus it has a later pinned stock and other mixed mfg parts it is not considered a collector rifle in as far as being original nor a shooter because of the low number receiver. I would guess the value would be probably some where about $500. Ray

Ray, thanks for the nice comments, those three four digit 1903's came from different CMP Auctions over the years. I never had the receivers refinished, that is the way they came from the CMP. You also have some really nice 1907 period rifles too. I would agree with you on the $500 value. Robert
