That Day 11:00 11-11-1918
It is the day that the War to end all Wars ceased and the carnage stopped though for the survivors the war within went for life, it also touched so many people away from the front.
And let us also not forget those that today go forward under the banner of freedom to ensure those oppressed by fear can be once again free to live in peace.
To all nations engaged in this task this is one person that respects and defends those that willingly place themselves in the line of fire to keep the world free.

"This is not a peace; it is an armistice for twenty years" Foch.
"Why stop when we've got the bastards on the run? They'll have to do it all over in twenty years time" Andy McNaughton on hearing of the Armistice. (quoted from memory)
“There are invisible rulers who control the destinies of millions. It is not generally realized to what extent the words and actions of our most influential public men are dictated by shrewd persons operating behind the scenes.”
Edward Bernays, 1928
