wish i could help you out i bought 2 boxs at last gun show here for 26.50 a box which had 20 rounds in each. which if i bought new brass alone it would have been 50.00 along with shipping fpr 50 rounds.
felt it was better to buy loaded an start from there as i only have 2 japs in 6.5 an do not run them alot just when i have the need.

If you can find it, I understand Hornady 6.5 Japanese
is better than Norma...some time ago I read an article comparing available civilian loadings against original Japanese ammunition, and the Norma measured substantially undersize in bullet diameter.

Since you are reloading there is one thing you can do to make cases. If you can find any 35 Remington brass, then you can made 6.5 Japanese
by running the 35 Remington into a 6.5 Japanese die going in a little bit at a time. Once sized then square off the top and your ready to load. The case will be a bit short in the neck but will lengthen in time. Shoulder will be fine. You won't have to trim it.
