Jouster (CSP) Problems
Just for info - plese move or delete if innapropriate.
I see that the Jouster
' forum has problems again - many of you may remember that Badger hosted the old Jouster forum temporarily when it was 'attacked' some years ago.
We are presently experiencing a very ugly database crash.
I am trying to recover the data, but no guarantees
Tuesday, 10:00 p.m. PST, still processing records, just reached 690,000,000

Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...

I've been watching it for some days now and fear we may be seeing the same thing as last time...

I'm not sure what the issue is, but I do know that their site is technically handled and maintained by Pat Hampton.
I worked with Pat back in 2009 when Jouster
had some major issues. As you know, we offered to temporarily host their members until they could technically and financially get back on their feet.
We spent over $1,500 to hire a software specialist, who saved and archived their complete existing site. We also helped raise over $8,000 for Dick and Gloria Culver, to help them out personally during that period of March to August 2009
I can tell you one thing for sure. Pat is a very competent technical systems analyst and if anyone can get them back on-line, she can.
Regards,
Doug

Does anyone know if Pat is related to the Culver
clan? I've exchanged emails with her several times but never thought to ask.
