Finding Bullets?
Been trying to find bullet heads.
Settled for 1,000 Plated 110grn from GB.
Price was $145 with buying now, plus ship.
Works out to about 14 1/2 cents each.
I'm betting they are Berry, but Berry site shows out of stock.
Seller from here in Michigan on GB.
Tough time finding these..............

I started casting those years ago, the Lyman mould with a 113gr and gas check. They work just great and no more problems finding bullets.

Charlie, I've had good luck with X-treme bullets, paid $50/500 from gun show dealers several times. You might try a smaller box just to make sure first. Used to be, you could buy them direct from the factory with "free" shipping." Current price looks too good for that, now - not sure. - Bob

Good casting lead is hard to find now as well. Getting the right lead/tin and or antimony alloy and Brinell hardness. When I was doing .45 LC I had a source for Linotype. Linotype is 84% lead, 12% antimony and 4% tin and worked great. When that was used up I switched to wheel weights. But they have dried up too. Now to buy casting lead it runs $2.25- $3.50 a pound. Cheaper in 25# ingots. Still a good buy, but not as good as free.
I tried them in a carbine and didn't have an issue. Still concerned about possible fouling.

I checked on the X-treme bullets. They would be $91.26 shipped (for 1000) to my Zip or Charlie's. Seems like a new fancier website than I remember - don't know if someone else bought them up or what? Maybe just on a "roll."

Midway USA
will have Remington 110 FMJ and sp on sale in 1000 rd boxes from time to time. These are well made US bullets and are not copper washed steel. Midway charges a lot for shipping but I like to give them my business. Send me a PM and I'll send you 100 to try.

The gas checks eliminate all fouling.

Not the piston, just the barrel from low quality bullets. Good lead bullets are no problem.

Look here.
Pat's Reloading - Prices
Pat shows LC 110 FMJ and Remington SP.
Been shooting GC cast in mine for years. Bought a wrench for the gas piston, but have yet to use it.

I have also used Rainier Ballistics plated 110s. Run them a full 1970 fps (15.0 WW-231) with no problems. Prints to the same POI as Remington 110 FMJs.
