Stamp on Lithgow No.1 Mk3 1914
My 1914 Lithgow
has "2nd MD" stamped on the knox. Any ideas what this is?

It is is good condition overall. "Regulated by Fultons" stamped atop the barrel, still has cutoff. However the charger bridge is broken off the main body on the left side so i cannot use charger clips to reload it. it also is not fabulously accurate and i wonder if these two facts are linked as the charger bridge would stiffen the action would it not? I have wondered if I could get it refixed but have NO idea how i or anyone would do this. You'll see when get pics.

Or was it removed by some well meaning sod? We've seen this before too.

That's a shame. Always hoping for something special.
