Very nice. We were just talking about these a few days ago but no pics to go with. I just couldn't at the time come to mind with a picture of these. Love the solid rubber bayonet, at first I thought solid lead. That wouldn't work...

Parris
I just thought it was strange that to find two in the same month! Already started my 8 year old Grand Daughter on the finer points of safety (Is it loaded?). Manual of arms will come much later.
I was in the Pershing Rifles Trick Drill team in College but I do not believe we will reach that level. Her mother is having a hissing fit but I do not care. Dad said it was ok!
KIds need to find out about firearms. If you know something, you will not be afraid of it!

I regularly used to take my son onto the ranges when he was quite young, where he'd make hyimself useful (useful in a busy kid way!!!!!) helping on the radios or flag or collecting the used mags/empties. Inevitably someone would ask him if he'd like to have a shoot - if he asked his dad first of course - who would stand close by while this illegal but totally innoxious act was taking place. He went through all of the big stuff but liked the Thompson gun from the waist and for some reason unbeknown to the remainder of the real Army, the little L86A1 SA80 LSW!
When I head the government I'll have weapon training and handling as part of the junior school syllabus!

Ah, you got a point there Gary. Is that the lot or do you have some more? I think I'll wait until they're all in having their breakfast or tea break before I send that gunboad over to sieze back the troublesome Colonies. Shouldn't be too much of a problem after that reassurance from our PM Dave Cameron! After all, he says that he's quite confident in the ability of the Navy (well, our forces in general presumably) to take on their world commitments. And if it's OK with you Dave, then I'm your man!
I'll give you a call when I'm close Gary so you can put the kettle on......
