My First Mosin, a 1943r PU

Although I've been in the Milsurp game awhile, my focus has been mainly on American service rifles. I've had an itch to get a PU for awhile and finally came across what seemed like a good deal here on the boards on a 1943r Izhmash PU. Considering I paid $575 for the sling, rifle, and scope cover, which is way less then what aim and Classic are currently selling for, I'm extremely happy with the purchase and since I know next to nothing about mosins, I'm curious what YALL have to say about the rifle. The numbers are all matching on the new serial number (the old was lined out) including the scope and mount. Sorry for the sloppy photos, I was in a hurry, and will take more photos if needed/requested. Thanks for looking!
