Great looking rifle. How does it shoot? I remember when they had that deal. A little while later the store employees would even mail one out to you if you mailed the order paperwork to them. I found out a day late.

I bought a couple of those $100 M-12 rifles and had them mailed to me, both had complete Freeland buttplates on them. On one of them the barrel is bent between where the scope blocks mount but it still shoots very well.

Hey guys great site. At 50' with wolf ammo mine shoots one hole groups. My best score with my M12 was 395 out of 400. I shoot in a 50' indoor league 4 position.

I just finished putting the scope on it and so far only tried T22 and Federal Target. Just fired a few groups off the truck hood to make sure everything was working OK. It doesn't like the T22's but the Federals did much better and showed some potential. I hope this week to get on a bench and try some more kind of ammo.

I have never had a rifle that liked the Winchester T22. The CMP
Aquillas do well in my M-12. That would be an awsome rig for my long range silhouette matches. But you would have to remove the bi-pod.
Nice rifle !!!

That is a Freeland bipod. Not meant to be shot from like a Harris bipod. It's just to hold the rifle upright when your not holding it.

I was at the North Store when they first showed the $100. M12's with the shortened stocks. What a deal. I bought three because that was all the cash I had. Went back a week later and they were all gone. Even a better deal was the used Kimber 82's for $150. w/o sights. About a year later the CMP
started selling the sights for $90./set.
