I'll bet they didn't mind the firepower...you see the comms guy has a cartridge belt and an M1916 holster...as well. I'll bet all their weapons were US issue...

A now deceased mate (older than me) of mine, Patrick Murphy, was one of the R.M.s sent to Korea from the British
Occupation Force in Japan
. He was operating with the US Marines when he and they were captured by the North Koreans and later held by the Chinese. His disdain for Chinese food far exceeded similar feelings I harbour towards Vietnamese food.
"Spuds" had previously been the youngest Bootneck on active service during WWII. He also served in SBS before retiring.
A great bloke and still missed.
