Need help identifying a vehicle
Hi folks, I am new to this forum and to military vehicles. I have always wanted to get into military vehicle ownership and restoration, but never did. Now is the time! I recently saw one that interests me but it is not for sale. I want to research it but don't know what kind/make it is. If anyone can give me some information on it, I would appreciate it very much. Thank you!

I think it's a custom job. Looks like a bobbed off M35 to me...if you Google them, you'll find lots.

Looks neat though. Make a nice pickup truck for one of the dedicated types.

Thanks guys!! Now for a dumb question: what does 'bobbed' mean?

Chopped off a bit. They all had two axles at the rear. The box was longer too.

It's another word for shortened. Like when a dog’s tail is shortened, it’s also called “bobbed.”

And the bed sure looks like a ton and a half trailer bed.
Wonder why the hell anyone would do that to a duce and a half.

That's where it's from! I couldn't quite place it.
