Netflix
Just watching a series on the American involvement in WWII across 4 towns its people and the boys who went to war. Rather a good insight into the campaigns and theaters of action well documented and worth looking at. Series is titled The War

I started Netflix so the wife and I could continue the Longmire series, currently I'm watching Foyle's War which is set in Hastings during the Battle of Britain

Considering NF just for Longmire! Is it included in the monthly fee or does one need to "buy" these episodes on top of the fee?

My son has NF, cheap at 8.00/month and that includes all the programs available. IIRC they raised it a dollar for new subscribers recently but still a super bargain.
I have watched it a bit however he rarely watches regular tv now. There was a time when the US offerings (programs) were better however there was a way of registering that you lived in the US and you could get those programs in Canada
. I think now they are pretty much identical in both countries so no longer a need to do that.
NF has killed the movie rental industry and this was predicted many years ago, people no longer want to drive to rent a movie.

It's killing bundled cable too as it should. My cable, phone "which we don't use" and internet access cost me $226 a month!!! That's a car payment!!! Outrageous yes, but the wife wants to watch her shows. If I could I'd dump bundled cable in a heartbeat.

Like you my phone and satellite tv costs are now to the point of outrageous and it is time to do something about it. In Canada
I know the cable companies are concerned as their numbers are dropping and NF is gaining in popularity. I think there are over 3.5 million NF subscribers in Canada.

Watch for Spitfire RFD in Polish 303 Squadron markings. She makes appearances as Foyle's son's plane.
