Things we miss
Just sold on usedguns.com.au a 1927 Lithgow
MkIII for wait for it $350.00/Au it had a rusty bore but heck production was supposed to be around the 3000 for that year making it a tad scarce. I reckon as soon as it hit the site it would have been gone dammit!!!

Yes would be nice henryr I cruise it daily just to see whats on offer and would have had a go at this one running the risked of being cindered again by my wife who has finally settled after my acquisition from 18 months ago as she reckons I have to many 303 rifles and other affiliated gear that I probably wont use but half the fun is owning stuff so you can fiddle with stuff. I still have a long bucket list though will have to be content trying to fill it when I get up stairs as it is more than a lifetimes worth....

Well Cinders, I'm pleased I wasn't the only one that missed it.
My phone is linked to the computer and warned me as soon as it was flagged, by the time I walked from the workshop to the house and made the call, it was sold........I was the second caller.

Why would the rifle have no rear sight - a "H" barrel maybe?

Has been converted to Range Pattern- Shortened barrel. I guess there is $330 worth of bits and pieces though.

350 sounds a tad too much.

Muffer I've been the second caller that many times, I've lost count. I've also been first caller a good many times as well. It's best to just hang up the phone and never give it a second thought.

If the '27 it still has the original stock the complete MkIII woods are around the $320 Au that may go for more/mags if it is legit 80-100 and so on but me I would keep it as is.
