They're on the low end of the AK scale but I love mine. The major problem some have are canted sights. Not a big deal if the rifle can be zeroed. Imported by Century Arms, you sure the bottom doesn't read CAI Georgia VT?
No way I know of to tell when it was slapped together by the drunken Century monkeys. The date on the trunnion is the date of Military manufacture not Century's. They go for $650ish now.
Tons of info out there on these, enjoy it...

No, no such thing that I'm aware of. When they were first imported the mag well could only except a single stack 10 rounder hence the 10/ IN 10/63. Century monkeys opened up the mag wells with tin snips and welded two ears up inside to except double stacks in 2004 after the scary features bill expired. If you'll notice a metal 30 rounder will wobble like crazy. Will still run like a champ though.
P.S
Watch running your fingers inside that receiver. ALL those edges are razor sharp. Take a stone or file or even sandpaper to the edges. Your fingers will thank you.

Good advice, I have a Russian
produced Baikal Makarov that needed the same treatment to the back of the slide, took a few bloody razor slashes to figure out it was happening while thumbing the hammer. Great pistol, but you could shave with the slide.

I have a WASR 10 and have been very pleased with the quality, function and accuracy. Always considered AK's to be junk, but then I never fired one before. I have a scope on mine now but have not yet had an opportunity to take it to the range to try it out. They had been selling them on ebay a while back but not aware if they are still around or reasonably priced currently. Just checked ebay, none there.
Looks like this one here: http://wasr-10.com/sites/default/fil...24%20scope.png

The new Century WASR 10’s are actually quite nice. They have nice new blond wood handguards and butt stock, nice rivet heads and the Parkerizing is jet black. They are a big improvement of their first efforts.
