I have seen this 3 legged running gear before, now it's just a matter of remembering where...

Google calls it a triskelion and searches suggest it is part of the Coat of Arms of Füssen

But I cannot find a weapons reference to the mark.

I already knew that it was Finnish, I am looking for the maker of the sling.

Those links are auto generated by the site and direct to the general section of the Milsurps Knowledge Library
, or MKL
, it is almost certain that HOOKED ON HISTORY did not personally direct you there.

Sorry, Scanning quickley while at work and saw the SA did not read the post. Some value in the sling as it looks sound and Finnish
slings can be unicorns these days. Looks short in the pics. Suomi perhaps?

The sling is 43.5 inches long. It's 1.15 inches wide, which means it doesn't fit the 1 inch sling swivels on my Sako M39 B barrel. I know it's Finnish
but I am not sure what it's supposed to fit on. I think I must have a one of a kind because I can't find this maker's mark anywhere?

Looks very much like it could be for a Suomi. Here is a picture of mine with the sling that came with it. The only difference I can see is the color. Mine is grey rather than brown.

Give this site time and patience and I am sure the answer will be forth coming to you longandiana as you can imagine the milsurps gear from all wars is quite large and even this site can sometime have some troubles getting the part identified but chill and it will get decphered
