? Unknown T2 BB
I found this T2 BB lodged in the back of one of my parts bin and I didn't even know I had it or when I got it. First I thought it was for a Winchester then I looked in Harrison's Book and he list the T2 BB for Winchester having No Pad and no Marking. It doesn't have the center Hole or Punch hole between the 4 Weld Scars and the one he has in his book like this one could be for a Rock-Ola or a IBM. The only thing is the ones for those 2 have the Marking at a Angle not Horizontal like this one. Would anyone know who used this BB who knows maybe someone might be looking for one. Can anyone help me identify this BB to a certain M1
Carbine. Thank You

phillydude I appreciate the offer, but I don't show parts to sell on this forum. If you or anybody is interested they should email me and ask. Selling parts on this forum or thread other than the classified section is a no no.

First mistake...Using Harrison's book. It has more wrong than right. Throw that thing away. It has caused more correct carbines to be "corrected" than anything Bubba could come up with. It is NOT a Winchester band. The weld marks on winchester bands are set above the center of the screw hole, not even with it as is seen on this band. I don't know who used the _ marking on their band. Perhaps BrianQ knows.
When they tell you to behave, they always forget to specify whether to behave well or badly!

I did look in my other books and didn't see anything that could help other than what it shows in Harrison's Book. Yes people have said to me don't use this book as a reference, but it's the only one that has something close to this BB.

The band is authentic Type II but I couldn't say who made it or what carbine it came from. I have a double slash Type II on an Inland that is also a mystery.

Especially since I started on the original Culver forum. That had to be about 1998.
