Enfield No2 Mk1** firing pin rivet question (probably for Peter)
When I was firing my No 2, the firing pin rivet fell out. I found it, and tried to fix it back in, but I think it is too far gone to save. Does anyone have an idea for a replacement or a fix please?

Just a mild steel pin .104" low, .106" high diameter. Must not protrude beyond the thickness of the hammer. Easy to make and fix

The pin hole in the trigger is slightly countersunk so a mild steel pin will just pein into place. By the way, the hole in the striker is slightly larger than the pin. This is to allow the striker to articulate slightly
