    M1/M1A1 rebuiled

    Just curious, Were any M1/M1A1icon's sent back to rebuild during WW 2 or were they all sent after the war ? when did they start putting the stamp's like RIA, AA, etc on the stocks showing they were over hauled etc. Thank's.
